The Simon Project:About
From The Simon Project
The Simon Project is a library of original content created by Simon - that's me. The point of the site is pretty much as a repository for my thoughts and ideas, some of which interlink with others, creating a self-contained corner of the web.
The Simon Project is currently host to 5 articles. The project utilizes the open source Mediawiki software.
History
I registered the domain for a project similar to this one several years ago. It has, alternately, been a blog site, a culling ground for selling domain names, an image hosting site, a family forum, and other projects. The wiki was born on June 1, 2010.

What The Simon Project Is Not
- A Blog
- I've been down that road before. It can be fun for a while, but there are times when it just feels as thought the blog is demanding your attention. The idea behind this wiki is that it can be updated as new ideas come with no concern over how long it goes between posts.
- A Vanity Site
- Honestly, you can come or go, read or not, or whatever you wish. I'm not looking for anything out of the visitors here; I just put this site up so I could keep some things organized and link to them if need be.
- Censored
- The Simon Project may contain content that some readers consider objectionable or offensive. I will not absolutely guarantee that articles or images are tasteful to all users or adhere to specific social or religious norms or requirements. That said, I'm not the kind to upload truly offensive material, and being a storage space for adult or mature content doesn't appeal to me.
- The Simon Project's hosting provider states the following:
- Morally objectionable activities will include, but not be limited to: activities designed to defame, embarrass, harm, abuse, threaten, slander or harass third parties; activities prohibited by the laws of the United States and/or foreign territories in which You conduct business; activities designed to encourage unlawful behavior by others, such as hate crimes, terrorism and child pornography; activities that are tortuous, vulgar, obscene, invasive of the privacy of a third party, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable; activities designed to impersonate the identity of a third party; illegal access to other computers or networks (i.e., hacking); distribution of Internet viruses or similar destructive activities; and activities designed to harm or use unethically minors in any way.
